On February 7, 2024, Trade Training and Research Institute (TTRI), in collaboration with ARISE Plus Cambodia, organized a โ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ ๐ผ๐ป ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ด๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ฃ๐น๐ฎ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฐ-๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ดโ in Siem Reap province.
The workshop was a crucial part of the planโs development and refinement process, bringing together key relevant stakeholders to confirm the key findings from earlier consultation workshops conducted at both central and provincial levels. The workshop also aimed to gather additional input and feedback to shape the overall plan formulation.
Of note, TTRI is a multi-disciplinary department within the Ministry of Commerce (MoC). Its mandate is to provide training for stakeholders in Cambodiaโs trade and business sectors. TTRI also conducts research activities that aim to contribute to the growth and progress of trade and business in the country.
The primary objective of this upcoming five-year plan is to establish a robust management framework for the TTRI. This framework aims to align the institute with the MoCโs mission, enhance service delivery, and transform the TTRI into a specialized policy think tank focused on trade development research and innovation.
